Aside from my work that I'm doing on The Lamb's Wife (TLW) website, which is much more comprehensive than here, this work is meant as a quick comparison of scriptures relating to end-time prophecies. Each section of the table below will include prophecies for those things that correlate to it from other scriptures, a quick comparison of sorts.
I'll work from Matthew 24 as the foundation, since the words spoken therein are directly from our Lord Jesus, and then add on other scriptures I find that seem to say the same or similar. So, the main text here is Matthew 24, everything else will be added to it, either above it or below it, as *supporting scripture*. Blank table lines between the verses are used to separate each section or theme.
It should be an interesting work when it's all said and done. It will take some time to compile it all though. I'll work on it as time allows so check back often as the page will be updated often (I will change it's date each time)! All scripture below is from BlueLetterBible.org (BLB), King James Version (KJV). This page will be LONG but it should be very informative and worth your time if you are interested in end-time prophecy :o}

| Matthew 24:4-5 | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. |
| Matthew 24:6-8 | And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. |
| Revelation 6:1-8 |
And I saw when the Lamb opened one
of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the
four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse:
and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went
forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second
seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out
another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another:
and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the
third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And
I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances
in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure
of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see]
thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth
seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I
looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death,
and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth
part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and
with the beasts of the earth. |
| Matthew 24:9-10 | Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. |
| Matthew 24:11 | And many
false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. |
| Matthew 24:12 | And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. |
| Matthew 24:13 | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. {I believe this means whoever endures as a follower of Christ through the end of his/her life ... it is these people that will be saved from eternal damnation ... these will be the army, clothed in white robes of fine linen as we see in Revelation 6, 7 & 19, that come with Christ at His second return to set up His kingdom here ON EARTH forever and ever! Jesus is our example in this. His physical body died, I believe He (His soul) immediately returned to the Father where He continued doing works as deemed by God. His physical body was resurrected three days later and His soul was merged with that resurrected body, making Him the first of a new creation.} |
| Revelation 6:9-11 |
And when he had opened the fifth
seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for
the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried
with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not
judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes
were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should
rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren,
that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled. |
| Revelation 7:9-17 |
After this I beheld, and, lo, a
great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds,
and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed
with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice,
saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and [about] the elders and
the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped
God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and
honour, and power, and might, [be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which
are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir,
thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great
tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the
blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve
him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell
among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall
the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of
the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of
waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
| Matthew 24:14 | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |
| Daniel 8:11-14 |
Yea, he magnified [himself] even to
the prince of the host, and by him the daily [sacrifice] was taken away,
and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given [him]
against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down
the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which
spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice],
and the transgression of desolation, to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary
be cleansed. {Apparently there will be a third Jewish temple
in Jerusalem, and sacrifices of old will be reinstated, but this man that
*magnifies himself* will put a stop to that and trample the temple under foot
for 2,300 days. For the sake of space I'll not quote the entire vision and
it's interpretation, please take the time to read the chapter yourself!} |
| Matthew 24:15 |
When ye therefore
shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
{Mark 13:14 has it like this, "But when
ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,)
then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:" And
Luke 21:20 reads, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed
with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."} |
| Zechariah 12:2-3 |
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a
cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the
siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem. And in that
day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that
burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of
the earth be gathered together against it. |
| Zechariah 14:12 |
And ye shall flee [to] the valley
of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea,
ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of
Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the
saints with thee. {Future peoples of Jerusalem, pay
attention, herein the Lord tells you where you are to flee to, for your safety!} |
| Matthew 24:16-20 | Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: |
| Matthew 24:21 | For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. |
| Matthew 24:22 | And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. |
| Zechariah 4:14 |
And his feet shall stand in
that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east,
and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward
the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and
half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward
the south. |
| Matthew 24:23-26 | Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not. {See Zechariah 14:3-4 ~ there it confirms where you are to watch for Jesus' return and how you will KNOW it is Him!} |
| Zechariah 14:3-4 |
Then shall the LORD go forth, and
fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,
which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall
cleave in the midst there of toward the east and toward the west, [and
there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove
toward the north, and half of it toward the south. |
| Matthew 24:27 | For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {This is in reference to *lightning fast*, not briefness of His return ... when He comes the second time He will be here to stay! He will return to the Mount of Olives, just as He'd left from that place over 2,000 years ago. This is why you are warned not to believe He's here or there ... when He returns it will be ONLY to the Mount of Olives as stated in Zechariah 14:3-4 above! Proof that it is He, at His second coming, will be a great earthquake that will split the Mount of Olives in two! Remember this!} |
| Revelation 19:11-16 Revelation 19:19-21 |
And I saw heaven opened, and behold
a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and
in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes [were] as a flame of
fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that
no man knew, but he himself. And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in
blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies
[which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen,
white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with
it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS,
AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. |
| Matthew 24:28 | For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. |
| Revelation 19:17-18 Revelation 19:21 |
And I saw an angel standing in the
sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the
midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of
the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains,
and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit
on them, and the flesh of all [men, both] free and bond, both small and great.
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. |
| Zechariah 14:6-7 |
And it shall come to pass in
that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark: But
it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day,
nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall
be light. |
| Matthew 24:29 | Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: |
| Revelation 6:12-17 |
And I beheld when he had opened the
sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And
the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely
figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll
when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out
of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the
rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman,
and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the
face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For
the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? |
| Zechariah 12:10 |
And I will pour upon the house of
David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:
and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and
they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall
be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn. |
| Zechariah 13:6 |
And [one] shall say unto him, What
[are] these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, [Those] with which
I was wounded [in] the house of my friends. |
| Matthew 24:30 | And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. |
| Revelation 1:7 |
Behold, he cometh with clouds;
and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced
him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amen. |

|
| Matthew 24:31 | And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. |
| Revelation 8:1-2 Revelation 8:6-13 |
And when he had opened the seventh
seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And
I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given
seven trumpets. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! {I recommend you read the entire chapter as I've not quoted all here.} |
| Revelation 9:1-2 Revelation 9:13-15 |
And the fifth angel sounded,
and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the
key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose
a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the
air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. {I recommend you read the entire chapter as I've not quoted all here.} |
| Revelation 10:7 |
But in the days of the voice of
the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should
be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. {I
recommend you read the entire chapter, and into chapter 11. Not quoted here
is the *little book* and the *two witnesses* which occur before the seventh
angel sounds his trumpet.} |
| Revelation 11:15-19 |
And the seventh angel sounded;
and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world
are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign
for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God
on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give
thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because
thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations
were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should
be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the
prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great;
and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of
God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his
testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings,
and an earthquake, and great hail. {I believe that the 7th
trumpet is the trumpet referred to in Matthew 24:31. There are yet seven vial/bowl
judgements to befall the inhabitants of the earth, but before that, in chapter
12, is war in heaven, satan and his angels are cast out of heaven down to
earth. Chapter 13 is about the beast and his mark. We continue on in chapters
14 & 15, more worthy reading.} |
| Revelation 15:2 |
And I saw as it were a sea of glass
mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast,
and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name,
stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. {I recommend
you read the entire chapter as I've not quoted all here. Chapters 16-19 go
on to describe the 7 vial judgements upon the earth, including the worst earthquake
and hail yet to plague mankind.} |
| Revelation 19:6-9 |
And I heard as it were the voice
of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice
of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of
the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was
granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write,
Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the
Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
{Notice this marriage isn't mentioned until AFTER the tribulation
when all those souls that believe in Christ have run the course of their lives!
Chapter 19 goes on to tell of Christ coming in the clouds and how he conquers
the armies amassed against Jerusalem. From chapters 20-22, you will see that
even after all these things terrible trials & tribulations there will
still be civilizations on the earth! Be sure to read the whole book!} |
| Matthew 24:32-36 |
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. |
| Matthew 24:37-39 | But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. {This lines up with Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-50 for the interpretation, I'll leave it to you to read it on your own.} |
| Matthew 24:40-44 |
Then shall two
be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two [women shall
be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this,
that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be
broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not
the Son of man cometh. {This lines
up with Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-50 for the interpretation, I'll
leave it to you to read it on your own.} |
| Matthew 24:45-47 |
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. |
| Matthew 24:48-51 | But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. {Be glad the Lord *delays his coming* for it's bought time for you and I to come to Him for our eternal salvation! This lines up with Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-50 for the interpretation, I'll leave it to you to read it on your own.} |
