There are several Mary's mentioned in the New Testament, aside from these three below I saw at least two others. Apparently back in that day the name Mary was common in the land and up to 1/3 of baby girls were named Mary!

Due to some recent propaganda by satan, via our favorite media of television and books, some of our Marys have been mixed up, or worse ... slandered. This page sets out to make that right. I'm not going to do any kind of mention against the slanderers themselves, I don't want to give them that kind of extra space aside from the damage they've already done.

This page will just mention these three Marys as I find reference to them and what the Bible has to say. Let me warn you, don't believe everything you see and only believe half (if that) of what you hear. Prove ALL THINGS in your own Bible! OK?
~ Mary, mother of our Lord Jesus ~
Mary, I find no evidence of her age being 14 years old when she conceived, that is pure speculation!

Mary is not to be *venerated* or worshiped, she was blessed of all women yes, but she was never to be worshiped, only God and Jesus have that honor. Nowhere in the Bible will you find anything that says to worship Mary, the mother of Jesus!

Mary, her being a virgin was foretold by a prophet:
Isa 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."
Mat 1:23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
(Quoting Isa 7:14)

Mary was a virgin at the time she conceived Jesus (aka: Immanuel or Emmanuel, see Isa 7:14 & Mat 1:23), she was already engaged to Joseph:

Mat 1:18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost."

Mary's virginity was confirmed to her espoused husband Joseph, in a dream, by an angel:
Mat 1:20 "But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

Mary's virginity confirmed in Luke's gospel:
Luk 1:27 "To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary."

Mary is visited by an angel (Gabriel, see Luke 1:26) who informs her she will bear the Messiah of the world, and how that will happen:
Luk 1:28-37  "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. And when she saw [him], she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible."

Mary willingly submits to the will of God for her future:
Luk 1:38  "And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her."

Mary was happy about her *blessed* condition:
Luk 1:46-47  "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour."

Mary may or may not have been with Elizabeth when John (the Baptist) was born, there is no proof either way:
Luk 1:56-58  "And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her." (Mary & Elizabeth were cousins as we see here, Luk 1:36 "And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren." but this doesn't necessarily mean that Mary was present at John's birth. Mary would have been three months pregnant when she returned home to Nazareth.)

Mary was with the disciplines after Jesus' death & resurrection:
Act 1:14 "These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."

~ Mary Magdalene (of Magdalena) ~
Mary Magdalene, there is NO evidence existing in the Bible that she was the adulteress that Jesus saved from being stoned!

Mary Madgalene, there is NO evidence existing in the Bible that she was *married* to Jesus ... it's satanic lies ... hogwash!

Mary Magdalene wasn't actually surnamed Magdalene, that name signifies where she is from (Magdalena) and was used to convey they were talking about her and not the many other Marys present.

Mary Magdalene is NOT the Mary that annointed Jesus' feet with oil and wiped them with her hair! That honor goes to Mary, the sister of Lazarus & Martha.

Mary Magdalene had seven devils that Jesus had cast out.

Mar 16:9 "Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils."
Luk 8:2  "And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,"

Mary Magdalene, the first to see the resurrected Jesus!
Mar 16:9 "Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils."

Mary Magdalene was also present when Jesus was crucified:
Jhn 19:25 "Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the [wife] of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene."

Mary Magdalene was the first one to Jesus' tomb (sepultre) on the morning of His resurrection, Jesus was already risen before she had arrived:
Jhn 20:1-10  "The first [day] of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooping down, [and looking in], saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. Then the disciples went away again unto their own home." (The other disciple, whom Jesus loved, was the apostle John. The first day of the week would have been Sunday, since Saturday is the Sabbath (7th day of the week), therefore Jesus died on Wednesday (which happened to be a Holy Feast Sabbath day) before sunset. There were two Sabbaths observed during this week! That means Jesus arose from the grave sometime between Saturday evening (2nd Sabbath for that week) or into Sunday morning when Mary saw Him. It's likely He arose on Saturday during the hours of the Sabbath after sunset. Notice this my friends, Jesus' entire body is GONE, the only things left in the tomb are the linen clothes and the face napkin, this passage even goes into detail on how those were left behind indicating that when Jesus arose he removed those items from Himself and wrapped (rolled or folded) each up separately. We likewise will someday be resurrected!)

Mary Magdalene sees two angels in the tomb sitting where Jesus' body had been, she is alone as the apostles had already gone away (to their own homes as we read above):
Jhn 20:11-13  "But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, [and looked] into the sepulchre, And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him."

Mary Magdalene is the first to see the risen Lord Jesus!:
Jhn 20:1418  "And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and [that] he had spoken these things unto her." (Notice the angels were in the tomb, Jesus is outside of it as it says Mary turned herself back ... away from peeking into the tomb. Notice Mary sees Him even before He's ascended to God, she cannot touch Him until after He first ascends to God!)

~ Mary, sister of Lazarus & Martha ~
Mary, sister of Martha (and Lazarus, see Joh 11:1-2) is a devout follower of Jesus:
Luk 10:38-42  "Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." {Mary had chosen to glue herself to every word the Lord spoke, rather than busy herself with worldly activities.)

Mary, sister of Lazarus and Martha, annoints Jesus' feet with oil and wipes them with her hair, confirmed in John's gospel:
Jhn 11:1-2  "Now a certain [man] was sick, [named] Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was [that] Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
Jhn 12:3 "Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment." (Often times we see depicted in movies or elsewhere that it was a harlot annointing Jesus' feet, as you can see here that's a falacy ... a blatant deceptive LIE. Nor was it Mary Magdalene that did this annointing with oil.)

Mary and her family were loved by Jesus:
Jhn 11:5  "Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus."
There are so many other satanic falsehoods on many other people of the Bible that I will be doing a page to set those lies straight as well ... stay tuned! Be careful my friends, you really cannot trust any other source regarding your Christian walk other than the Bible itself, if what you hear cannot be found within the pages of the Bible, and further proved by the Holy Spirit ... do NOT believe it! We must be careful not to be drawn away from the truth, it's being done subtlely every day! Guard yourselves against deception in these last days friends!
